新山马六甲6天5夜自驾游
Day 1 04.07.2019
Flew from Kuching to JB and arrived JB Senai International Airport at 1510.
Took the rented car just outside the terminal. Arrived at our homestay at Jln Hj Abdullah Tahar at 1630.
Took a rest and walked down the road and found a Thai restaurant.
Have dinner at the restaurant but it is unsatisfactory.
Back to the homestay and sat around and chatted. Felt like at home
Day 2
05.07.2019
Breakfast at the homestay.
Started our day trip to the southernmost tip of mainland Asia, Tanjong Piai and the national park. It took us about 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive there.
Took numerous pictures of the beautiful scenery.
Back to JB at around 1330.
Drived around and searched for food but in vain because there is nowhere to park. Finally we bought chicken rice to be brought back to the homestay. We enjoy even more at the comfortable homestay and had closer bonding between all of us.
Went to Chong Qing's house to have dumplings made by his wife at 1630. Chatted till 1830 and back to the homestay.
Took bath and waited for Jeng's call.
Jeng and Ashley were joining us. Picked them up at JB sentral at 2130. Settled down and someone said that he is hungry.
Lazy to go down at night and took a whole packet of kampua brought from home to be enjoyed by everyone.
Day 3
06.07.2019
Breakfast at the homestay.
Started driving North at 0800.
Reached Yong Peng at 1000. Had fish ball soup with noodles.
Left Yong Peng at 1045 heading North to Tangkak.
Reached Tangkak at 1200. Called myex-colleague, Koh and we had a short meet. Koh took the trouble to buy some durians for us to taste. Visited his house and he brought us to take beef noodles.
Bought some Tangkak famous peas biscuit back. Left Tangkak at 1330.
Reached Malacca at 1430 and went straight to Sing's house.
Checked in homestay at Taman Cheng Indah booked by Sing at 1530. All 20 of us are there.
A very good arrangement where the house is big. There is a place to bbq at the poolside.
BBQ party started around 5 p.m. Decoration was done with the help of children ad young people. Sing ordered fried mee from restaurant too.
A very unforgettable Aiden one-year old celebration. We had a very nice time together with all family members present. It was a rare occasion. The celebration only ended in midnight. There were quite a lot of left over and could be taken as breakfast the following morning.
Day 4
07.07.2019
It was raining heavily in the night and it extended into the morning.
The left over from last night was just enough for all of us, Too good.
Ah Ching's family left early as she had a date with her friend in Malacaa.
All of us went to Sing's house for a while before leaving to an eatery nearby for our lunch.
We headed to Jonker Street straight after the lunch to have our cendol durian.
We checked in our homestay at Atlantis Malacaa at 1600.
Dinner was taken at Nyonya 63 treated by JS and JS and Sing followed us back to the homestay to have a chat before they went back at 2130.

Day 5
08.07.2019
Breakfast at the homestay with coffe and tea
Left Malacca at 0830 heading straight to Muar.
Bought some otak2 to be brought back.
Then left for Batu Pahat and had luch at zhulin 竹林. A lunch with numerous choice. Very good.
Reached JB at 1430.
Took a rest at the same homestay and went for dinner at 武汉鸭脖子. Delicious food.
Jeng and Ashley left for Singapore at 1930 and they reached home at 2200.
Day 6

Breakfast at the homestay
Idly and comfortably chatting at the homestay till 1130
Checked out and had lunch at 唐人餐厅. Even better venue for meal. Nice food and more attractive price
Straight to the airport and returned the car.
Took the flight at 1630 back to Kuching.
It is a very leisurely and enjoyable trip taking our own time.
