Multi-racial and multi-cultural Malaysia

Since GE14 on 09 May 2018, my beloved Malaysia was reborn. Even though PH put up a hope to overthrow the existing government, I nevertheless disbelieved the struggle would come into reality. I am sure Malaysians out there had the same frequency with me on the thought of PH becoming the government. Even until today, I still wonder how the PH can win over  BN given that BN is the existing government with all the financial supports. Anyway, PH is the government now since the GE14.
Malaysia is a multiracial country where different culture and different religions are practiced. The population mainly consists of Malay (70%), Chinese (20+ %) , Indians(7+%) and others. Malays are the majority and they are Muslims from birth. Islam is Malaysia official religion except Sarawak. Other religions can be practiced freely which is enshrined in our Federal Constitution.
Under BN rule for 61 years, things have changed through demographics and the irresponsibility of  certain quarters of politicians. When Malay Muslims population dominates from about 50% in our early years of independence to 70% now, Chinese and Indians and all others become the minorities. Through divisive education by some irresponsible system and teachers, children are led into a dangerous path through religion and thus gaps in between different races gradually enlarged. I wonder why our conservative Malay counterparts have the fear of other races dominating them. By right they are the majorities and with the guidance of our Federal Constitution, minorities will never pose a threat to their race and religion. We as Malaysians uphold what is being enshrined in the FC to conserve Malay rights and to accept Islam as the official religion of the country. I ever asked one of  my Malay colleagues why Malays should fear about the over dominance of other races. Inferior complex was her answer. When we have inferior complex, we feel threatened. She may be correct.
PH is still in the process of forming its full government. There are two streams of supporters where those supporting more secular governance are made up of more open-mined Malays and the minorities whereas more extreme and inferior-complexed Malays still fear that Malay rights will be withdrawn and Islam will be threatened and thus they do not support the present government. I am sorry to say that there is another group of people who have stolen our national coffer will definitely oppose the present government in view that the present government is doing the cleansing of the wrong-doings and the culprits will be exposed every now and then.
With the wrong governance of our past regime, there is a long list of jobs need to be done. Race-based and religion-based politics should be out and instead our country should practise meritocracy and helping the poor in all ways irrespective of race and religion. During the early era of independence, the government did make an effort to rule in the correct way, the thinking eroded along these decades until now. It is difficult to correct the mindset of the people but it is not impossible before the deeds become irreversible.
I am more than astonished when TM who was once a dictator(but he denied) in the 80s has made a 180 degree turn to decide to turn over a new leaf. He admitted his wrong-doings in the past and he sincerely wished to right the wrongs including his own wrong-doings. In the beginning I won't trust this old man as he was too notorious. Who knows from this far he is really doing his reforms with his short tenure set for two years. It is unbelievable at the age of 93, he is still witty, exact and clever in running as a premier. His influence cannot be ignored and he is doing good to the country to bring the country onto a right path. Malaysian citizens will be able to walk with their heads up in the world. He has brough Malaysia into the lime light of the world and he is even more popular than Mandela now. Kudos to our PM TUN.
To conclude, It is is now a true Malaysia after 28 days since GE14. With some reforms and cleansing, some figures surfaced which we think TUN is doing a great job by appointing the right person to the right job. We have new PM TUN replacing DSN; an ethnic Chinese as  Finance Minister; Ali Apandi is replaced by Tommy Thomas, an ethnic Indian and a christian; BNM governor resigned and in speculation will be replaced by Noor Syamsiah, the right lady to TS Zeti. haha!!! A true Malaysia is ongoing. Our Malay counterparts need not to worry. We just want to govern the country so that our money is well managed and our people are rich. There is no conspiracy and no cronyism which put our country in the verge of bankruptcy. We Malaysians should work hand in hand to make our country proper irrespective of race and religion.
